Like I promised last week, here comes the tutorial for the second picture I made for my livingroom wall. It’s very simple, but takes more time because of the paint. So lets get started. 🙂

You need a little canvas, some paint – I used varnish – in different colors, a stamp, washi tape that matches your chosen colors and some scrapbooking letters.

At first you paint a background with different colors. I used one color for each layer, let everything dry for at least half an hour and went to the next layer. I used black as the first one, so it wouldn’t pop up so much. The accents I set in gold and finally white. I had in mind, that I wanted to use the white area for stamping and writing, so I filled this part entirely.

Afterwards I stamped three cameras on the white area and painted two of them black and golden.

For the final effect I used one of my favorite washi tapes with matching colors to add some accents and those lovely letters from Bella Boulevard – Sophisticates. And that’s it. Easy, isn’t it? 🙂

Thanks for sharing this tutorial. Looks great and seems achievable for those of us not talented at drawing! Will give it a go sometime 🙂 Naomi
