photo walk: medieval fair

medieval tableware

Yesterday I went spontaneously on a medieval fair in Ritterhude. “Ritter” means “knight” by the way and therefore it was the perfect place for this market. It was a wonderful sunny Sunday, relatively warm and therefore perfect for a walk around. But see for yourself. 🙂

cute owl

This cutie of an owl belonged to the show of a falconry. Look at these big round eyes begging for a treat, isn’t she cute?

I challenged myself yesterday to use only my zoom lens on my Olympus E-520 and not my panorama lens, which I prefer usually. And I must say, I really like this prespective of things. I will definitely use this lens more often from now on.
