We’re back from a beautiful and relaxing vacation at the Baltic Sea. We stayed three days simply at the coast, then two nights in Rostock and four in Stralsund. Two of the most amazing architectural cities, I’ve ever seen. When I walked the streets of Rostock for the first time, I instantly fell in love with the hanseatic architecture. Since the fall of the wall 25 years ago, so much has changed in these cities. A lot of money was paid, so the buildings could be renovated. Almost every house is painted now in bright colors and looks like having build just two years ago, although most of them are over 60 years old. I was especially amazed by the little details and ornaments. Just look at the faces and little flowers or the sun with clouds door handle.
