spring fling: minialbum inspiration

'Yummy Spring' minialbum by Jaszmurka

This is one of my favorite minialbums made by JaszmurkaYummy Spring‘ – it’s simple, it’s fast to make and it’s simply beautiful. Don’t you think? It’s not designed in the usual spring colors like pink, light yellow, light green and so on. But I think, that makes it extra special.

If you look for more typical spring minialbums, these beauties might be the right kind for you. Love the little bugs and butterflies (1, 3) and the typical color combinations (4, 6), but also the soft peach colors (2) and the combination of yellow and turquoise (7). And I love the idea of a spring adventure (5), don’t you?

spring fling: flower greetings

spring fling: flower greetings by momentstolivefor
It’s time to start with the new The Seasons Project: spring fling – everything inspiring around spring. Although spring isn’t anywhere near here in Germany – it’s actually snowing right now – I would like to send you some flowery spring greetings, to get you into the mood. I love those little flowers, which blossom only in early spring against all odds, just when the last snow is gone. Hopefully they will be here soon. Aren’t they lovely?

Wintertime: winter minialbums

Wintertime: winter minialbums by momentstolivefor
{ 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 }

Time for some minialbum inspiration – aren’t these lovely minialbums? Everyone seems to participate in the “December Daily” challenge and I loved all these minis, but I’m curious why so few scrapbookers used winter as a theme. Why don’t you collect your favorite winter memories in a book? The times, you spend with your family or friends outside – go sledding, make a snowball fight or snow angels. Or an hour by yourself sitting on your favorite armchair, drinking a hot cup of chocolate and reading your favorite book, while it’s snowing outside. Definitely moments worth capturing, don’t you think? 🙂

Wintertime: photo session in the snow

How about a little photoshooting on a snowy winterday? If you are taking a walk with friends or your family, take your camera with you. This opportunity to take photos in the snow doesn’t come along that often. So here’s some inspiration:

have fun and enjoy 🙂

photo walk: wintertime - frost on leaves by momentstolivefor

It’s been a while since I did a photo walk. But on Saturday it felt right and I took my camera and my zoom lens with me on my way to the city. It was the first day this year with a wonderful blue sky and sunshine. A little snow had fallen the last days and frost was on everything – so everything sparkled and glittered. It was so beautiful.

Wintertime: winter decoration

The Seasons Project: Wintertime

It’s time to start with the Seasons Project again. This time naturally “WINTERTIME“. So every week I will post something seasonal like a winter DIY or inspiration for a winter minialbum.

To start, here are my favorite winter decoration ideas (many with tutorials) – will definitely try some of these, when I find the time. It wasn’t that easy to find real winter decoration, precisely not Christmas inspired things. Of course the dominant color is white, snowy white and much glitter. But I really like the use of navy blue and red, to bring a little more color into the room. I think, light blue and turquois is a wonderful option too for a winterly landscape in your room.

finally fall: my fall moments

fall trees reflected in the river

What a lovely fall it was this year and still is. Loved specially the light on the leaves or rushing through rustling leaves on the ground. The clear blue sky and a cool wind blowing through my hair and the kites of kids up in the air, where flocks of birds flying south to a warmer realm.

From where I stand - between fall leaves
memories of Fuenen, Denmark
arriving at Odense, Denmark
meeting of starlings
harvest
beautiful colored fall trees
favorite pair of fall shoes - my red boots
fall leaves
sunrise over two trees in fall

finally fall: favorite fall music

Hey there, I think this is the right season for some thoughtful, lyrical songs. So here are some of my favorite songs this fall, that I listen to every single day on my way to the office or while I’m working on the products for the craft fair:

finally fall: falling leaves photoshoot

finally fall: falling leaves photoshoot by Moments to live for
Greetings from Denmark. It’s been lovely and fun here so far. I’m in Odense with some friends for a week. With my good friend Susanne I had some fun photoshoots and this is one of them.

Just take some leaves, throw them up in the air and enjoy, when you stand in a rain of leaves. Make sure the photographer sits close to you on the ground and that the camera points into the right direction – maybe take some testshoots first. The lower the camera is positioned, the better you can capture the falling leaves. We used the wide angle objective (18 mm).
