I took this photo walk parallel to the photo walk: fruits at the Viktualienmarkt in Munich. There were not so many exotic vegetables as fruits, but it was nevertheless fun to capture all sorts of beautiful arranged veggies.
Like last time, you can play a little game and guess the names of all vegetables. You find the solution at the end of the post. Have a ball.
The vegetables in row: tomatoes, green onions, onions, cauliflower, zucchini, artichoke, peppers, garlic, gherkin, cherry tomatoes, leek, radish, romenesco, carrots and salad.
When we visited the Viktualienmarkt in Munich we were amazed by the numerous fruits and vegetables. There were not only regional but exotic fruits like lychees and rambutans (photo above). Yes, I’ve never heared of them before, too. I had to google them on the internet, because I had forgotten to ask at the market booth. They look so funny with their long yellow-green hair.
Are you in the mood for a little game? Try to name every fruit shown on the photos. Most fruits are easy to recognize, but maybe one or two are new to you. You can find the answers at the end of the post. Have fun!
The fruits in row: rambutans, apricots, cherries, mirabelles, plums, apricots, lemons, apricots, grapes, mangos, dark cherries, kiwis, oranges, watermelons and lychees.
