amazing weekend

amazing red rose in a farm garden by momentstolivefor

Hey guys, did you all have an amazing, sunny weekend? We had. We went to the movies to watch ‘Despicable Me II’ – it was hilarious. Almost fell off my chair, because I was laughing so hard. You should definately watch it in 3D. The extro is so true-to-life, you think, you can touch the soap bubbles.

On Saturday we visited the parents of my boyfriend on their farm and I sat on a tractor for the first time. Next time we will be there, he wants to drive the tractor with me. This will be so fun. I love farms and I love to wear rubber boots, walking through mud and caress little calves. The roses in the farm garden were amazing and in full bloom. I couldn’t stop myself from taking hundreds of photos.

In the evening we went to see the weekend at the Jade (Wochenende an der Jade). A big event at the North Sea, where you could visit a lot of different ships, even more fun rides, historical cars and some cool concerts of Pohlmann, a PINK tribute band and my favorite ‘Mr. Hurley & die Pulveraffen’, a pirate band. We spend almost eight hours there, met some friends and enjoyed a little downtime at the sea on the bank. We had a great time and it was almost like a short break from our daily routine.

wish you all a wonderful new week

What a weekend! There was so much going on, that it could have filled an entire week. We helped at a childrens birthday party with 20 children. They camped in the garden and we had fun sleeping in a hammock next to them in the garden. It was fun, but was I thankful for my first cup of coffee, that my friend brought me in the morning. You can see, how groggy I looked when I woke up.

Later on Saturday we visited a medieval fair, similar to the one I took a photo walk at last fall, but smaller. I really like, how everyone is dressed up and how professional and real everything looks. The people are taking it really serious and pay attention to every little detail, it’s amazing.

Furthermore we made a bike trip through the Hamme lowland on Sunday. We tried to soak up every bit of sunshine, we could get. And enjoyed a big cup of vanilla icecream and yummy strawberries. Oh, how I love them. Can’t get enough of them. Afterwards we lay down on the grass and let the sun fill our energy reserves. It was so lovely.

But if you think, that’s it, you are wrong. Above all we took a canoe tour on the Hamme river on Friday. But I will post the photos tomorrow, simply because they are so beautiful.

hope you all had an amazing and sunny weekend as well
