Geometric forms are one of my favorite design elements to work with. Why I didn’t use it as theme for a photo walk until now, I don’t know. It’s so simple and fun and the photo walk by Elise Blaha-Cripe that started the whole thing was ‘round‘. Therefore it was more than time to do it too.
Hop over to see my entire collection of photo walks.
Round & round is a little photo project I’m doing once in a while. When I find an interesting place, I choose a fixed point to stand and try to find as many interesting motives around me as possible. The only moves I make are up and down and a turn of 360°. I don’t take one step in any direction. That’s the challenge. But everytime I find little details, that I would have otherwise missed. It pushes me to look closely at all that is around me. It doesn’t take long. Five to ten minutes are enough for this little exercise, but you lern so much. This one here is a round & round shoot I took at the haven of Rostock near to the historic center, where I took the photo walk architecture.
